The guidance is aimed at licence holders and other relevant stakeholders and addresses the obligations imposed on licence holders by the Executive Order on the prevention and combating of match-fixing, which enters into force on 1 July 2025.

The guidance has been sent for consultation with licence holders and the Spillebranchen (Danish Online Gambling Association).The Executive Order on prevention and combating match-fixing is part of the implementation of the political agreement “Agreement on a new framework for the gambling market #2: Charity lotteries and strengthened control”. The guidance is available in Danish and English.

At the same time, the Danish Gambling Authority published a guidance on the duty of notification in the Executive Order on preventing and combating match-fixing. In addition to providing guidance on the notification obligation, the guidance also instructs the licence holder on how to notify and what documentation must be attached. The guidance will soon be available in English.
